Eddie Maldado

Painter, explorer, and lifelong student of light, memory and place, Eddie Maldado works between landscape and abstraction. His paintings are responses to the landscapes, people and emotions that shape a meaningful life — to the beauty held in the in-between.

Working primarily in oil on canvas and panel, he builds surfaces in layers: washed grounds, broken colour, and passages of deliberate stillness. Coastlines, rivers and interiors recur — not as records of places, but as the shapes memory leaves behind.

Original works are shown and sold through the studio, and select paintings are available as prints, lithographs and giclées through Artworks. He lives and paints on the coast, where most of these works begin.
